Croyde beach in the summertime might be North Devon’s worst kept secret – and it’s easy to see why. The glittering waters, cushion-soft sand and rugged dunes make it a destination hotspot during peak season rather than a hidden gem – that was until the national lockdown in late spring/early summer momentarily turned Croyde beach into a warm secluded sanctuary.
The latest collaboration in Corinne and Sarah’s coastal collection is reminiscent of those quiet moments in the early summer of 2020, displaying a peaceful scene from the dunes, without footprints in the sand and surfers in the water.
Distinguishing features of Jackson & Young artwork are present, like the sweeping brush strokes by Corinne and the detailed patchwork collage by Sarah yet, unlike similar seascapes, the work features gulls flying overhead and the dune's sloping fences. If you’re after a splash of colour and calm in your home, then this is the perfect interior-addition for you.
