Gallery, Studio and Fine Art Printers
Jackson and Young is a gallery, studio and specialist fine art printer service founded by collagist Sarah Jackson and oil-painter Corinne Young in December 2016, based in Barnstaple, North Devon.
As well as a gallery brimming with vibrant seascapes, portraits, wildlife creations and one-of-a-kind collaborations, the Jackson and Young studio also offers a printing service for artists, using the finest quality paper and a large format digital Epson printer to achieve professional giclee prints. Art materials are now available in their newly renovated space.
As artists themselves, Sarah and Corinne have fantastic experience and an unrivalled expertise for printing, using their shared knowledge to help established and emerging artists produce print and digital reproductions of their original work.

Sarah was born in London in 1989, living there for 8 years before her family upped sticks and moved to the South West. It was in Cornwall Sarah found a passion for the outdoors and became inspired by the beautiful Cornish scenery surrounding her, using art as an outlet for her vision. In 2011 Sarah graduated Falmouth University with a BA(Hons) Illustration degree and it was here she developed her signature collage style, layering magazine cuttings and paper to create strikingly intricate and textured artwork.
After graduating Sarah worked as a freelance editorial illustrator with a client base including the Wall Street Journal, German wings Airline and Starbucks. Since settling in North Devon and opening Jackson and Young with co-founder Corinne in 2017, Sarah is often crafting visual thrills via canvas in the studio, using the ever-changing North Devon landscape and bountiful wildlife around her as inspiration. Now as an established fine artist Sarah sells her collage works worldwide.
Most recently Sarah was awarded the Ronald Morgan Memorial Award at the Royal Society of British Artists 2023 exhibition at Mall Galleries, London. She will also be exhibiting there alongside Corinne at the Society of Women Artists exhibition in June this year. Previously she has been a finalist in the prestigious David Shepherd Wildlife artist of the Year award in both 2022 and 2021.

Despite being a North Devon native, Corinne was born in Saudi Arabia in 1992, travelling back and forth between the UK and Middle East throughout her young life. She attended Plymouth University and obtained a Fine Art degree in 2014 before moving back to North Devon to kickstart her art career, which led to the opening of Jackson & Young with co-founder Sarah Jackson in 2017.
In the gallery, Corinne uses oil paints to create rich tones and textures for a multitude of works, including landscape and wildlife collaborations with Sarah and commissioned pieces such as pet portraits and seascapes. When Corinne’s not focusing on a collaboration or commission, you’ll likely find her immersed in her first love, portraiture. In addition, Corinne has become well-known for her ‘Shades’ series, explore the popular range here.
The primary theme in Corinne’s practice is portraiture, in which she uses oil paint to create rich tones and textures to bring her paintings to life.
Corinne won The Holly Bush Emerging Women Painter Prize 2020 with her striking painting "Reasons to be alone". She then worked towards a solo exhibition, which showcased selected works, in Hampstead, London.
Corinne has exhibited work in Devon, London and Saudi Arabia. She has also participated in Sky Arts ‘Portrait Artist of the Year’, where she competed against professional artists and was shortlisted by the judges for her painting of presenter Adrian Chiles.

"We discovered the wonderful Jackson & Young at Croyde craft market a couple of years ago and have been in love with their work ever since - we have often joked with Sarah and Corinne at J&Y that our home could be a second Jackson & Young gallery as we have bought so many pieces in the last two years! Not only are they lovely ladies but they offer a great service and value for money too! We would highly recommend Jackson&Young." - Steve and Jackie Dingley
